Meet Karen McRandle
Karen qualified as a physiotherapist in 2005 from the University of Ulster. She took a keen interest in paediatrics and has been working in this area for the past 15 years as a senior physiotherapist.
Karen specialises in the assessment and treatment of newborn babies to young adults with a variety of conditions, such as
Physical disabilities/neurological conditions e.g., Cerebral Palsy, Spina Bifida, Erb’s Palsy
Genetic conditions e.g., Down’s Syndrome
Neuro muscular disorders e.g., Muscular Dystrophy
Developmental delay
Newborn assessment
Disorders of movement
Talipes, torticollis, plagiocephaly
Gait re-education
Rehabilitative physiotherapy following orthopaedic surgery/botulinum injections.
Karen is an advanced Bobath trained therapist with numerous other specialist courses under her belt.
Karen also has specialist knowledge in the assessment and treatment of adults with physical/learning disabilities.
