Meet Dolores McFadden

Dolores has over 30 years of clinical experience, having graduated with a BSc. in Occupational Therapy in 1991 from Queen Margaret College Edinburgh. She has also achieved a Postgraduate Certificate in Advancing Practice from the University of Ulster. Her clinical specialism is within Adult Neurological disability and has practised in Scotland, USA, and N Ireland.

She has completed extensive training and professional development activities and is highly skilled in her ability to use both standardised neurological assessments and non-formal assessment processes to evaluate the impact of neurological impairment on a person’s ability to complete daily living activities. She is an expert in designing individualised rehabilitation programmes which are tailored to address a person’s specific needs and goals.

As an occupational therapist, Dolores is dual-trained in both mental and physical health, allowing her to work with individuals as a whole system thus maximising the potential for enhanced function and independence.

She has extensive experience in delivering vocational rehabilitation, and assisting people to return to meaningful occupations and vocational roles.

Dolores is also highly proficient in completing medico-legal assessments and report writing.

She is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (OT 19517) and is a member of the Royal College of Occupational Therapy.
